Black History Month
As part of Black History Month, year 3 have enjoyed reading ‘Look Up!’ This is the story of Rocket, a young girl whose hero is Mae Jemison, the first African-American woman in space. We explored the book and also read a biography of Mae Jemison in order to develop our understanding, and used our reading skills to compare the similarities between the messages that we found in the two texts.

Parkour Day
Our wonderful children relished the chance to enhance their personal development and stay healthy when taking part in an exciting Parkour assembly and workshop led by professional instructors.
