Our school day formally starts at 8.45a.m. whereupon a statutory registration will take place. Prior to the official school day start, doors will open at 8.35a.m. to allow children to access school and to prepare for the school day.
The children have three lessons in the morning and in the afternoons there may be one long lesson or two shorter lessons.
Assemblies & Collective Worship
The school holds an act of collective worship every morning. The programme for assembling together as a school is as follows:
Monday: Celebration assembly for all children led by a member of the Leadership Team. Parents and carers will receive an invitation to join us if their child has been nominated for a certificate.
Tuesday: A whole school assembly led by staff members.
Wednesday: A class-based assembly linked to the week's THUNK.
Thursday: Either an assembly led by a year group sharing children's learning or a whole school hymn practice.
Friday: A class-based assembly.
Break Time
Break time is from 11.00a.m. to 11.15a.m.
Lunchtimes
Children in Key Stage 1 have their lunch from 12.15pm to 1.30pm whilst Key Stage 2 have theirs from 12:30pm to 1:30pm.
Drop off and collection of children
Reception children should be dropped off at the Reception door on the Foundation playground. If you need to let us know about any arrangements or information please inform the staff on duty at the door.
Key Stage 1 and 2 children should be dropped off at either entry to the playground. If you need to let us know any information please let the office staff know in the main school office.
