Black Country Museum Trip

s part of Year 5’s History learning this term, pupils have been studying the Industrial Revolution. During their visit to the Black Country Living Museum, children were able to experience what life may have been like during this period.

The children explored a Victorian schoolroom, visited a range of shops and homes and had the opportunity to learn about coal mining and the industries that developed during this time. This visit helped pupils to deepen their understanding of how life during the Industrial Revolution compares with life today.
