At Oak Meadow School we understand that our children love to use computers, tablets and the Internet in school and their own phones, computers and tablet computers at home. However, we also understand that they need to be taught how to use the Internet and social media safely and what to do if anything happens that upsets them whilst they are using them.

At school our internet is filtered and we have regular discussions on 'eSafety' in our PHSE and Computing lessons where the children are taught how to stay safe and what to do if they have any problems.

We are often asked how parents can help to keep their children safe at home when they are using the internet or their phones.
